PCB Binary Watch V2
I published the first version of my PCB Binary Watch last year (details: https://www.instructables.com/PCB-Binary-Watch/), which drew huge attention from the online community. I have been using the watch for the last couple of months and still working perfectly. But over time I faced one issue. I used a coin cell battery for the first version. When I press the time show button the watch sometimes restarts. Possibly the coin cell battery fails to provide the required current. So, I made some changes to my watch and produced the second version.
Changes on the second version:
- Coin cell battery is replaced by a 150mAh lithium battery.
- Li-ion battery charger circuit is added.
- A Micro USB port is included for charging.
- Some traces have been rerouted to give a better aesthetic look.
