PET filament from plastic bottle-BERTA
This idea came to me months ago, to find a way to recycle the plastic bottles that many people throw away.
A couple of years ago I tried 3D printing for the first time and I noticed how that object is indispensable for me to repair everyday objects that are needed by the whole family.
I wanted to combine both utility with respect for nature and recycling and try to build this small project which consists in regulating the temperature of the hotend using arduino, controlling the speed of the stepper motor for winding the wire around a coil via a potentiometer and a suitable driver.
To check the temperature in real time, I set up an LCD screen.
This is my project I hope it entices other people to try to build what they need.
