1.5 Adana Electromobile Team Story
1.5 Adana Electromobile Team is a group of engineering students from Çukurova University dedicated to developing electric vehicles. Our mission is to advance sustainable transportation technology and design and manufacture the electric vehicles of the future.
Our Establishment
The team was founded in 2013 by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Çukurova University. Since then, we have maintained our commitment to advancing electric vehicle technology and showcasing our abilities in competitions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to innovate and sustainably advance electric vehicle technologies, help young engineers and scientists enhance their skills in this field, and promote environmentally friendly transportation options.
Competitions We Participate In
We participate in the International TÜBİTAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Race in the Electromobile and Hydromobile categories, as well as the Robotaxi-Passenger Autonomous Vehicle Competition. Additionally, we compete in the Shell Eco-marathon.

Our Future Goals
As a team, we are focused on our future goals. In particular, we aim to contribute to the production of alternative energy vehicles. We also evaluate our chances of reaching the finals in the Shell Eco-Marathon Race.
Our Electronic Components
BLDC Motor Driver: The motor driver controls the speed and direction of rotation of the motor. For these purposes, the electronic command required to rotate the motor according to the position information received from the hall effect sensors placed inside the motor is provided by the motor driver. During the motor driver circuit design phase, N-Channel MOSFET was each other. This isolation is achieved using an optocoupler. driver card; It can be examined in three parts: power part, control part and filter part. In the power part, MOSFETs, MOSFET driver IC isolated DC-DC converter and passive circuit elements are used. In the control section, using the ARM-based STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller, the position information received from the hall-effect sensors placed inside the motor is processed on the microprocessor card and the signals created are transferred to the gate legs of the MOSFETs using optocoupler and half-bridge MOSFET driver integrated circuits. The half-bridge MOSFET driver ICs used are fed by an isolated DC-DC converter, and the control part and power part are electrically separated from each other. More stable operation of the system has been ensured by adding passive circuit elements such as RC filter, bypass capacitor, pull-up and pull-down resistors. Capacitors are used in the filter section.
