Battery Management System Board
As a team, I will explain the battery system of your electric vehicle, which we designed.
We carry out all the processes related to the vehicle's battery on our PCB board we designed. In this design, in order to ensure the safest operation of the vehicle battery, the 20S reflects the voltage, current, temperature, SOH, SOC and data of a battery pack on the OLED screen on the card. In case of any error or malfunction in the received data, it cuts the battery from all systems and shuts it down safely. At the same time, communication is provided with all other cards in the vehicle using the CAN BUS communication protocol. PCB and 3D images related to the card are given below. While the card is being designed, it has been produced to be used flexibly by loading as many different features as possible. ATMEGA 2560P was used as the processor. The circuit uses the passive balancing method. It also measures cell voltage measurements with various opamp circuits. In the circuit where there are too many analog data inputs, MUX is also used.
