Design and build a miniature mouse robot
Project Introduction:
I am an active member of Robotics Club "Robomatic" at my university. I have designed and built a micro mouse robot on atmega128 microcontroller. Although designing that kind of robot on a one-layer home made pcb is very limiting as the size of the robot is a crucial factor for competition.
Project Details
The robot will be powered by two pololu 50:1 motors with encoders and have 6 custom-made IR proximity sensors.
In the base project I used atmega128 as the microcontroller.
I would like to make a new version and use raspberry pi as computing unit with other chip as ADC unit, which would give me a much bigger programming flexibility. I believe that professionally manufactured 2-sided PCB would allow me to downsize the project as much as the size of motors allows and would give a greater flexibility when it comes to sensor placing.
