CONCEPT AND OVERVIEW OF THE UAV FLIGHT CONTROLLER

The UAV flight computer is designed to control a fixed wing UAV using a two STM32 chips to control telemetry, navigation and flight systems as well as extra peripherals to control and operate the various aspects of the UAV, the flight computer features an STM32F4 to control telemetry as well as an STM32H7 to control flight systems for high speed computing to keep up with the level of data and signal processing, the system is also embedded with barometric pressure sensors as well as IMUs to give live telemetry and control during flight.

OBJECTIVE OF THE UAV FLIGHT COMPUTER 

The objective of the project is to provide a robust flight computer system to a UAV capable of multipurpose functions such as live telemetry, surveillance, reconnaissance, supplies and SAR efforts in emergency situations.
