ESP8266 Breadboard Compatible Breakout

Hello my name is Arda I'm a student also a electronics hobbyist.

One of my last projects (which I used my relay module with feedback. check it out --> https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Relay_Module_With_Onboard_Feedback_System.html) required a small form factor esp8266 breakout module but I wasn't able to find the size I need.

So I designed it myself!

At the end the breakout module we have is a 40mm x 33mm esp8266 breakout board with ftdi header for programming, ams1117 voltage regulator for esp8266, reset and flash buttons for the programming and it has a cutout in the pcb for the wifi antenna.

This is a revised version of the real design (which had few problems like it wasn't breadboard friendly) but even the first design turned out perfect thanks to the PCBWAY's pcb production service.

Assembly Tip

Solder SMD components before the THT components!
