About the Team

Founded in 2010 by passionate students from Helwan University, the team is composed of 50 members and aims to design and build vehicles for international competitions. The team is made up of passionate students from various fields.

Our first participation was in 2010 in the Formula Student competition, which was hosted in the UK. We also participated in the GEVC (global electric vehicle challenge) in 2021 and 2023, which was held in the UAE, and we achieved 3rd place both times. Our latest participation was in 2024 in the EVER competition, where we managed to achieve 1st place, which is considered one of our biggest achievements.

The Shell Eco-marathon is an annual event organized by SHELL HELIX, where teams from various educational institutions around the world compete to design, build, and race energy-efficient vehicles, our last participation in the Shell Eco-Marathon was in 2023, and we managed to achieve 1st place for Prototype EV Concept Design and 4th place for Urban Gasoline Vehicle Concept Design.

Our upcoming project is the manufacturing of an electric vehicle that will be efficient for participating in the Shell Eco-Marathon 2025, which will be held in Doha, Qatar, as it is the main target of the competition. The main reason we compete in different competitions is the new challenges that we face each time we compete, which allows us to gain more knowledge and increase our passion.

Shell-eco Marathon Concept 2023

At E-Rally Racing team, we understand the critical role of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in the vital systems of our vehicle. The quality and efficiency of these PCBs significantly impact the overall efficiency of the vehicle. we design PCBs to control our electric motors BLDC and for other electrical systems in our vehicle such as the ones to collect essential data on the vehicle's performance metrics such as speed, distance, voltage, and current. we also test the efficiency of each motor and choose which one to compete with, ensuring the highest efficiency for our vehicle.

For our upcoming events, we are designing more and better PCBs and the team would greatly benefit from the support of PCBWay as our team is dedicated to designing and manufacturing electric vehicles to participate in local and global competitions. we face challenges in manufacturing good PCBs within our budget. with your help, we would gain good design experience for more members of our team.
