Kinetis K66 Breakout Board
DESCRIPTION
I am an Embedded Systems Engineer creating a Kinetis K66 platform for participating in the "Make with Ada" contest. The objective is to port the Ada Realtime and then port some libraries.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
The project consists of two separate boards. The first board uses a Kinetis K66 MCU with 2MB Flash and 256 KB RAM. It also has a 64 MBit SDRAM, SD card connector, Ethernet PHY and RJ45.
In addition to this, two 40 position connectors provides almost every pin available on the MCU to the second board: the breakout board. It has a power supply and a SWD connector to debug the hardware.
It is beautiful and tiny (82 mm x 18 mm).
This platform will be tested in 2018/2019 before creating an application for the contest. In 2019 I will probably only publish the Ada Realtime ported to this board (which is already a big step!).
I need this 4 layer board in order to test the realtime, port libraries and make lots of tests. It will be awesome to have the first set of boards available with a discount before the final board is ready.
Thank you !
