MIA Robotics
Who are we?
We are Made in Alexandria (MIA) robotics team, a dedicated team of undergraduate students from Alexandria, Egypt. For over ten years, we have been actively participating in regional and international competitions such as MATE ROV, ABU Robocon, and ARC, building 41 robots along the way and collecting over 40 national and international awards. With 60 active members in 2024 and growing, we are set on a mission to rule the waves and dominate the fields.
Check out our team brief for a more comprehensive insight into our mission and accomplishments.
We challenge ourselves each season to push the boundaries of our technology and improve the quality of our products. This season for example we started working with composites such as Carbon Fiber.
Project descript_ion
We are planning for this season 2024/2025 to work with our development boards based on the stm32 microcontroller
and explore different materials and manufacturing techniques.
We are also currently working on a dual-channel 60A switching buck converter that would greatly reduce our ROVs' weight and volume giving us a huge competitive edge.
