Hello,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of Olin Electric Motorsports. We are an entirely undergraduate student build team out of Olin College in Needham, MA. Each year, our team designs, builds, and races a formula-one style electric race car. Our mission is to create an educational environment where students will deepen their knowledge of engineering disciplines and develop their communication and leadership skills by designing and building a Formula SAE Electric vehicle. It is our belief that building a vehicle for these competitions will be one of the most challenging, engaging, and complex projects our members will ever work on.

Our team of over 60 engineers is tasked with this incredible job every year, and we couldn’t love it more! We get to learn, directly, the skills that will prepare us to succeed in the workforce or in our later education. Our team, however, is entirely self-funded so we rely on sponsors like you to make our mission possible.  Additional funds allow our team to make design decisions that are not hindered by costs as well as provide additional funding to bring more team members to compete .
