RS Racing UFRGS Brake Light
Team History
Our FSAE team was founded in 2010 and is made up of students from multiple majors who work as volunteers in the project. Each year we develop a car to participate in the Brazilian FSAE competition, in which the two best ranked teams earn the right to represent Brazil in international competitions held in the USA, as we did back in 2015 when we came home from Lincoln with 2nd place in the business presentation.
Brake Light
In this new season, our team is developing a brake light using LEDs, with the aim of allowing our team to more easily detect brakes. This year it was designed in order to have redundancy in the power supply of the system, since this is one of the biggest causes of disqualification of the teams in the competition. The entire set is housed in a 3D printed case.
Distribution Box LOGGER
In this new season, our team is developing a new power control system, this pcb is responsible for doing all the communication between Distribution Box Sensor and the team, it has a system with logger through an sd card, a system of communication via can bus and wi-fi connectivity.
Distribution Box Sensor
In this new season, our team is developing a new power control system, this pcb is responsible for measuring the currents and voltage that pass through the fuse box. Through it we will be able to know if a component, such as the fuel pump, is burnt out or faulty more precisely and quickly. The entire set is housed in a 3D printed case.
