Sapuangin: Advanced Controller & Telemetry for FSAE

ITS Team Sapuangin is an automotive team from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), established in 2009 with a focus on innovating energy-efficient vehicle technology. As a world champion in various international competitions, the team excels in developing highly efficient internal combustion engine vehicles with a strong commitment to reducing environmental impact.

The team has achieved remarkable milestones, including winning the Shell Eco-marathon Driver's World Championship in London, England, in 2018, securing third place at the Shell Eco-marathon World Championship in Bangalore, India, in 2023, and earning first place at the 2024 Shell Eco-marathon Regional Championship in Mandalika, Indonesia. These accomplishments showcase the team's technical excellence and reinforce its belief that Indonesia’s youth can compete on the global stage.

In our upcoming project, we aim to develop a custom controller for our vehicle, which will include a monitoring tool to track the vehicle's condition and a telemetry system for real-time data transmission. Additionally, we are working on designing and fabricating a PCB to meet FSAE regulations and conducting research on a Power Distribution Module to further enhance our vehicle's performance and compliance with international standards.
