Schanzer Racing Electric: Our Vision with PCBWAY

Schanzer Racing Electric, the Formula Student team from Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, was founded in 2010 and has since become a key player in the German Formula Student community. Our team consists of around 60 students from diverse disciplines, including mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as business and economics. We are deeply committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and technology and just now started working and developing our next fully electric racecar.

With over a decade of experience in designing and manufacturing racecars, we are constantly seeking the best technology to inspire and equip the next generation of engineers and designers. Schanzer Racing Electric offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and technical knowledge, making it an invaluable learning platform for aspiring professionals.

Our last project, the SRe24, was showcased at Formula Student events across Europe, including prestigious venues like the Hockenheimring in Germany and the Red Bull Ring in Austria. For the upcoming season, we will continue to participate in these competitions, pushing the limits of what our team can achieve. Formula Student is the world’s largest international design competition for young engineers, where teams are challenged not only to build a racecar but also to excel in project management, team leadership, and business strategy.

Our Goal with PCBWAY

In our quest to create the best racecar possible, we design numerous custom components that require precision and quality manufacturing. To achieve this, we seek reliable partners who can deliver high-quality products quickly and efficiently. PCBWAY is our ideal partner for the manufacturing of our PCBs and CNC parts as well as 3D-Printing, ensuring that we have the best possible components to compete at the highest level.
