Soft stat audio power amplifier
### DESCRIPTION ( Introduce yourserlf and your project)
I am a French student in electrical engineering. Since my 15 years old, I often practice and learn electronics by myself.
I am interested in audio power amplifier for a long time, and now I would like to conclude a long personnal project about this. I have built my audio power amplifier, but a part is missing. After solving several problems, one stays currently unsolved, and your sponsorship could help me.
### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)
The power supply of my audio audio power amplifier is made of toroidal transformers. There is a phenomenon called inrush current that creates a transient current when power supply is turn on and this can reach around a hundred of amperes. This damage the expensive input capacitors and the diode bridge over the time.
To solve this problem, the principle is simple : the current flows across limiting resistors for a second, and then a relay shorts them. This circuit is called a soft start.
It is a little part of my global project, but essential.
Below a photo of my first amplifier used to do some measures of performance. Since, I have learnt much things, and the board have become bigger...and better !
### Words to PCBWay
Thanks to PCBWay to give to me and everybody a chance to realize our project ! :)
