About Swissloop

Founded in 2017, Swissloop is a student-led team based at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, dedicated to revolutionizing transportation through the development of Hyperloop technology. Comprising over 40 passionate students from various fields, including engineering, computer science, and physics, the team is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

Our Project

This year, Swissloop is developing its latest Hyperloop pod for international competitions. Our current project features groundbreaking technologies, such as:

• High-efficiency propulsion systems
• Lightweight and robust composite materials
• Advanced magnetic levitation and guidance technologies
• Sophisticated electronics and embedded systems

Swissloop has achieved significant milestones in previous student based Hyperloop competitions, consistently showcasing exceptional engineering and earning recognition for our innovative designs. The Hyperloop competitions challenge us to design, build, and test pods capable of achieving unprecedented speeds while maintaining safety and efficiency. These experiences drive our team to continually innovate and excel.

Why We Need PCBWay

Swissloop develops all its electronics in-house, which requires a reliable and experienced partner for PCB manufacturing. High-quality Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are the backbone of our pod’s electronic and control systems. PCBWay’s expertise in manufacturing and prototyping aligns perfectly with our need for precision, reliability, and rapid iteration. With PCBWay’s support, we aim to:
