Team KJSCE Robocon

Team KJSCE Robotics is a highly dedicated and innovative group of engineering students from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai. Our team has a strong track record of excellence, consistently securing top positions in prestigious competitions such as ABU Robocon India , where we participate annually, and also in Robowars,  where we achieved 2nd place in 2024 with our powerful combat robot.

Our goal is to not only excel in these competitions but also provide our members with hands-on experience in designing, prototyping, and fine-tuning cutting-edge robotics systems. Through our work, we aim to foster a passion for robotics, encourage creativity, and empower young engineers to solve real-world problems through technology.

Our Achievements

ABU Robocon : Consistently performing at the top level in one of the most competitive robotics events in India.

Robowars (IIT Kanpur) 2024: Secured 2nd position in a fiercely contested combat robotics competition, showcasing our expertise in designing robust and agile battle-ready robots.

Innovative PCB Designs: Critical to Our Success

Our success depends heavily on the custom-designed PCBs that power our robots. The Electronics Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our systems run efficiently and reliably. Our key PCB applications include:

⚫ Motor Driver Shields: Ensuring smooth motor control and power management for optimal robot movement.

⚫ Main Control Board: Serving as the brain of our robots, enabling seamless integration of sensors, actuators, and communication systems.

⚫ Power Distribution Board (PDB): Regulating and distributing power effectively to different components, ensuring stability and minimising failure during high-intensity matches.

These PCBs are essential for maintaining high performance and reliability in our robots, allowing us to compete at the highest level
