The IEEE BPSC Micromouse
IEEE BPSC ( Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers Student Chapter at Birla Institute of Technology and Science) is a highly motivated group of students from BITS Pilani, who form a research driven, student run team. We undertake various initiatives to promote STEM literacy, produce research outputs and pursue projects that involve a mixture of Electronics, Robotics and Machine Learning.
We are expanding our technical ventures this year by showcasing our ideation of a micromouse in Robofest 4.0 held by Gujarat Government. For this project, we require a custom built PCB. The aim of a micromouse is to solve a maze in the shortest possible time for which it depends on algorithms such as A*, DFS, BFS etc.
The micromouse uses a STM32, DC geared motors with encoders, IR based ToF sensors, MPU 6050 and motor drivers integrated on the PCB. The following is the 3D view of our proposed PCB:

The team would greatly benefit from the support of PCBWay. Being a student research team, we rely on funding to realize our innovations. We believe it will be a mutually beneficial relationship. The team will make sure to display PCBWay across the multitude of events we host at APOGEE, our technical fest ensuring outreach to a larger audience. Highest grade prototyping capabilities would allow us to deliver exceptional designs and prototypes faster, also enabling the team to expand their skills and knowledge.
