ULWA, The Ultra Light Weight Arduino for birds tracking.

Hi ! I'm a french student, and i am studying electronics. I'm currently working on my biggest project so far, ULWA !

U.L.W.A. is an open-source, arduino based, ultra light weight birds tracking system. An all in one board with gps tracking, pressure and temperature sensors, and a precision accelerometer to track activities of the bird populations. All these datas can be stored in the included SD card slot.

Our goal is to make science available to everyone, with an easy-to-use programing language ( arduino, compatible with ardublocks ), and to reduce the cost of science studies to help protecting wild populations. The board is powered by an Atmega 328P to reduce power consumption as much as possible, with the sleep-mode.

The sensors module can track :

• GPS stream 
• Temperature
• Humidity
• Atmospheric pressure
• Spatialisation and orientation

The PCB is a simple two-layers board, to be assembled by eanyone with basic soldering skills. As a student, i don't have as much ressources as i would, so that's why i need a big company like PCBway to help me developping my idea. The project isn't finished yet, so help us !
