Universal board for Raspberry Pi pico with separation
Good morning. My name is Maciej Kymona. I am a 4th grade student of a technical school majoring in mechatronics. I chose this field because of the interest instilled in me by my grandfather, an electrician.
I designed this board for a project that took second place in the national technical innovation olympiad in 2024. Unfortunately, at the fair, children knocked the bike over onto our project, so now we are trying to rebuild and improve it. We decided to move from a universal plug-in board to a dedicated board. The design of this tile is so universal that it has wider applications than our design. The board is designed in such a way that it can be used in other projects/systems. The board's design is primarily intended to separate the Raspberry Pi outputs from the receivers. For this purpose, I used relays and optocouplers in the design. Thanks to this, I achieved complete galvanic separation of the Raspberry. The project has already cost over PLN 1,000. In my case, this plate will be placed in a machine to deter predators from breeding ponds. I would like to get support in this project. That's why I'm asking PCBWay for sponsorship.
PCBWay is the only PCB company I know that supports young people.
