YTU Racing Formula Student Team

YTU Racing was established in Yıldız Technical University in 2011. YTU Racing participated in the Formula Student competition, which is the most prestigious engineering competition at the undergraduate level, with its vehicles designed and produced every year between 2014-2019. The team, which has built 6 vehicles, will build electric, autonomous, and internal combustion engine race cars in the 2020-2021 season.

Formula Student is the world’s largest engineering organization among universities. It was founded in 1981 by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) under the name Formula SAE. The competition is organized by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Since its establishment, it has spread rapidly to different countries. Today it continues with the participation of more than 600 countries and more than 30 countries.

We are the most successful team in Turkey participating in the Formula Student. Also we are the only team in Turkey that participated in offical races on the track. We achieve this success by working day and night with determination and with the help of our esteemed sponsors. We would like to see you among our supporters in our new works.
