XCVR is designed to provide an economical and efficient development solution for diverse remote wireless applications. It is a development board and reference design utilizing the SX126x LoRa® sub-GHz radio transceiver. Based on Semtech's SX126x series, the XCVR Development Board effectively combines Semtech's 60 years of semiconductor manufacturing expertise and proprietary LoRa® modulation with Connected Development's comprehensive engineering design services, delivering a more enhanced user experience.
XCVR is available in two models: SX1262 and LLCC68, both designed to operate at 915 MHz for North America. The SX1262 model can be reconfigured to operate in the 868 MHz frequency band suitable for Europe and other regions. The XCVR development board offers validated and pre-tested reference designs, along with PCB layouts for radio frequency optimization. Connected Development's dev board and reference designs are compatible with Nordic Semiconductor's nRF52840 SoC and Silicon Labs' BG21 BLE SoC, including all necessary radio design files and practical engineering support to ensure successful deployment.
XCVR is installed on the Arduino Uno board, utilizing RF integrated passive components to achieve minimal footprint. It features validated and RF-tested reference designs, along with PCB layouts for RF optimization. It also offers software support for LoRaWAN®, Nordic Semiconductor (Zephyr and MBED), and Silicon Labs' (BG21 BLE) SoC. The XCVR has undergone Silicon Labs testing for compatibility with Amazon Sidewalk (when used in conjunction with Silicon Labs' BG21 BLE SoC). Additionally, the designers have made all radio design files open source, including schematics and circuit board layouts.
This project is going to crowdfund on CrowdSupply, check XCVR for more info and welcome to support it if you are interested:)
