0-15V 0.60mA-5A Adjustable Lab Power Supply
Build two of these modules for a dual supply!
There is a mis-print on the silkscreen for the bridge rectifier. It is marked "KBU-406", it should say "KBU-604", which is a 6A/400V bridge. I don't believe there is such a thing as a KBU-406.
The 1k trimpot is used to adjust the 0V output when the voltage pot (RV1) is set to minimum. You can use the +Vsense pin of J3 to measure with a DVM from with respect to GND (-V) and trim the 1k trimpot for a reading of close to 0 (+/-5mV).
The heatsink chosen for this project is Jaycar catalog # HH8570 which is 105mm x 55mm x 33mm. You can use whatever heatsink you choose, as long as its efficiency is 2.5 degrees Celsius per watt, or better.
