48 Pin SMD to DIP Adapter board
Technology is becoming more and more advanced.
Before, SMD packages were rare. Nearly all chips were in DIP, being breadboard friendly and easier to solder.
But now, most chips are in SMD, you won't find many parts in DIP anymore.
But for hobbyists, this is not good. A SMD chip cannot plug into a breadboard!
Thus, a SMD to DIP breakout board was created. This board is for TQFP48 and QFN 48 packages. Theoretically, it should work with 32 and 44 pin variants, as well.
You'll need a soldering iron that has a relatively pointy tip, or chisel, and you'll need to solder the chip onto the board.
Each connection on the chip is connected to a header pin location.
The board is double sided, so you can have both packages on it.
When you manage to do so, you'll have a DIP equivalent of your chip! Now, enjoy your new DIP chip and happy breadboarding!
