Breadboard friendly VGA breakout board
Building simple VGA card can be a great adventure, but as always, the last mile of the journey is usually the most difficult one. In case of VGA project that last mile is connecting your monitor cable to the breadboard.
This is why I designed this simple gadget - it provides convenient and robust connection from standard BB-830 breadboard to VGA cable. You can also use it outside of the breadboard - there are two M2 screw holes you can use to attach the board to any other project case.
Please note: in the BOM I shared there is a link to D-SUB connector from Farnell, but you can buy it elsewhere, just make sure that the footprint matches the Multicomp datasheet.
Also: there are two connectors on the board that go into the breadboard power rails, but these are not connected to the board, so don't worry about polarity. That also means that each "GND" connector on the port must be manually connected to GND of your circuit.
