USB Power/UART breadboard breakout
This simple gadget allows you to connect standard BB-830 breadboard to your computer directly, delivering USB power (+5V) directly, and the onboard USB to UART converted makes it very simple to connect to any serial-enabled device (like AVR chips, breadboard 8-bit CPUs and other projects).
There are three LEDs on the board - one indicating power being active and two more signalling TX/RX operation on the UART channel.
Two more pins of the FTDI chip are exposed (CBUS0 and CBUS3), and these can be configured using software provided by FTDI.
Please note: UART converter is optional and in this case you can skip the 47pF caps, 27Ohm resistors, 100nF/10nF caps and two LEDs/470Ohm resistors. Ferrite bead is required for power delivery and 4,7uF cap is required for stability.
