DIY soundboard and analog-digital mixer
When I work in front of the pc,I always have many applications open, and many times I need to lower or raise the volume of some of them (for example if I am in a video call I need other applications to have the volume to a minimum), and so I have developed this simple board managed by arduino able to communicate to the PC the values ??of individual applications and the master volume of my computer, in addition with the button section I can completely customize the board, as I can set a specific action for each button , like opening applications, taking screenshots, or muting / muting my microphone.
The operation is very simple, when the arduino detects the pressure of a button, or the movement of one or more sliders of the board, it sends codes to a python application that indicate which volumes to control and which applications, thanks to the libraries present. in python I can choose to control up to 5 different volumes for each slider, so for a total of 20 different applications, plus I can control the overall volume. For the buttons section the procedure is very similar, when I click a button the arduino sends python a code that will correspond to a certain action, for example: open chrome, change / mute the microphone, access a website, etc...
