This is a partially modified PCB based on the circuit designed by Matthew Perks (DIYPerks.com) for the Ultimate USB C Microphone from around 2022. USB-C Microphone (official topic)
Matt did everything on stripboard and that made the project more challenging for beginners, so I've taken all the "expensive bits" (the parts that can reasonably be removed from Vero/strip and created a PCB with some of the bulkier parts reduced to more practical (better performing) SMD versions. Parts listed in the BOM at the SMD ones only. All other parts are part of the original project but the most important two are a Murata NMA0515SC and a THAT1512. A THAT1510 can also be used but the resistor chain has to be adjusted to suit.
While I consider this design to be deprecated this does offer an upgrade path for people who have already completed the project but want to make it more professional internally.
The image shows a prototype being assembled for testing on a what passes for my workbench.
