  • Hi, Agnieszka,
    For peject SIDE3.3 Cartridge, we met some issues when assembling. Could you please help check the issues?
    1. There are both U6 and U6' in the BOM, which one should we install?
    2. For U8, we refer to the project Atari 400 Incognito-Lite project, and choose MCP79520-I/MS. But when assembling, we found that the component is larger than the pad and cannot be assembled. We want to use MCP79520-I/MN as an alternative model, but it is out of stock, so we would like to ask if you can provide an alternative model?

  • If the SIDE3 cartridge is under revision, a desirable change would be to get its width narrowed by a few millimeters in order to fit into the 1200XL cartridge tunnel. Perhaps a slightly "taller" SIDE3 cartridge would be the better way to go, inasmuch as it's not used with models 400 and 800 under a cartridge door, but instead with 600/800/1200XL and 65/130XEs, where cartridge height is not an issue. To my way of thinking, that the cart doesn't fit the 1200XL is a remarkable oversight.
