Description
Vu-meter single channel
Vu-meter single channel using LM324 OpAmps.
This project is ideal for electronic students who are starting engineering, The project shows how a transistor works as an audio amplifier, how to handle DC noises in the audio signal, and how to use Operational Amplifiers as voltage comparators to make this VU-meter.
The power supply for this circuit can be from 5 to 10 Volt DC through J1 (A 9V battery is ideal for this project), the audio gain can be tuned by the potentiometer RV2, and the audio-sensitive can be tuned by changing the value of the potentiometer RV1.
