A printed circuit board, commonly called a PCB, is the most basic component in modern-day electronics. These boards are found in virtually all electronics, and consist of anything from a simple design to intricate electrical pathways. A PCB looks like a special technologically advanced piece of hardware to the untrained eye. But a PCB is no more than a thin copper layer on top of a nonconductive board. This thin copper layer acts like an electrical pathway between various other electronic components.
Instructions
1 Draw the circuit on the bare PCB board with the marker.
2 Warm up the liquid etching chemical.
3 Cover the PCB board with the liquid etching chemical.
4 Rinse the PCB board off thoroughly after the liquid etching chemical has removed all the excess copper.
5 Drill holes to place the other components in the PCB.
