  • Hello, is it compatible with the new TL866-3g (T48) programmer? If not, do you plan to make a new revision fot it?

I am not sure... is this kind of adapter still needed?

    Greg 2023-01-30 01:00:26Reply

I just checked and yes, it is necessary but with an auxiliary connection to the T48.

The problem is that the TL866 is now obsolete. The T48 replaced it and i have one.

Hi greg, i also have the T48 and some of djbase flashroms that i've been unable to program when the flash chip is soldered to the board. I am able to program the flash rom before soldering it down with a tsop48 adapter but that defeats the purpose of having re-programmable chips. If you figure what adapter we need to be able to erase and program the flash roms without desoldering the tsop flash chip i would be grateful for the info. Regards

Update, i built one of these adapters up along with the TSOP48 V3 TL866 adapter but no go on the T48, XGPro just says No adapter found, Use ADP_F48_EX_1 for Nor Flash

hello, for the t48 you have to use the SN001 adapter together with this adapter above, have you tried that ?

    scrappysphinx 2023-05-03 23:46:06Reply

It doesn't work. As i mentioned above i built this adapter and tried it in the T38 with the TSOP48 (SN001) adapter and the software doesn't acknowledge it, just tells me to use the ADP_F48_EX_1 adapter instead. I'm sorted now as i managed to pick up a TL866 fairly cheap on ebay so have both programmers available now.

I am wondering if you ever managed to get this to work with the FlashROM (soldered)? I am hoping to get this working using the T48.

Hi, no I never got it working with the T48, I ended up buying a TL866 from eBay, managed to get one cheap so now I have both programmers lol

Thats a shame. I think I will have a bash. If it doesnt go well I will try and find an old TL866

Does anyone have any news about the T48? It would be great if the flashing worked. Does anyone have any ideas how to do it?
