30 turn each side PCB coil
Note: Each side of the PCB is 30 turns, for a total of 6.5Ohms and 60 turns per PCB.
Get a few of these boards made at a thickness of 0.6mm, and stack them up as needed to achieve the desired coil resistance! Place each successive one a quarter turn from the last, then solder the connection between them! Then simply solder wires to the end terminals and you're good to go!
Or, if you want a lower resistance and more current, stack them up without giving them quarter turns! The possibilities are endless, and these boards are CHEAP!
I'm using them as the coil in a magnetic-strip card-emulation device. The controller board for this project will also be published soon.
Designed in KiCad. Thanks to the scrip here for generating the actual coils: https://github.com/erichVK5/SpiralInductorFootprintGenerator
