2040 Rp2040 microcontroller
At the heart of the board is the RP2040. I chose it because it is a Dual-Core ARM Cortex-M0+ at 133MHz which is great performance at a low cost and small package. It provides unrivaled power and flexibility with large on-chip memory, symmetric dual-core processor complex, deterministic bus fabric, and rich peripheral set with unique Programmable I/O (PIO) subsystem. With detailed documentation, a polished MicroPython port, and a UF2 bootloader in ROM, it has the lowest possible barrier to entry.
AS2040 Board Features:
RP2040 32-bit Cortex M0+ dual core running at ~125 MHz @ 3.3V logic and power
264 KB SRAM in six independent banks
16 MB SPI FLASH chip for storing files and code (no EEPROM)
11 x GPIO pins with following capabilities:
4x 12 bit ADCs
I2C, SPI and UART peripherals
PWM outputs - for servos, LEDs, etc
PIO compatibility
3.3V, 5V and GND pins
3.3V regulator with 500mA peak current output
6-axis accelerometer and gyroscope
RGB NeoPixel for full color indication
12 MHz crystal for perfect timing
On-board STEMMA QT connector that lets you quickly connect any Qwiic/STEMMA QT or Grove I2C devices with no soldering
Both Run button and Boot select button for quick restarts (no unplugging-replugging to relaunch code or upload firmware)
Optional SWD debug port can be soldered in for debug access
USB Type C connector lets you access built-in ROM USB bootloader and serial port debugging
Mounting hole
Measures (32mm x 26mm x 1mm) without headers soldered in
few components missing i cant find
