Amiga SID Player Music Card

Amiga SID Player (known as SID Card) Zorro Card for Amiga is a hardware solution for playing SID tunes on Amiga with real SID 6581 chip. SID Card is also supported by Frodo Emulator.

On the video the revision of the board is demonstrated on Amiga 3000 computer (68030/25 Kickstart 3.1) with a SwinSID Nano clone chip instead.

Schematics of the card was published by Frodo emulator author in 1994.

This revision of the device was also tested on Amiga 3000 with a SwinSID chip. This is a working&tested circuit, however, testing was only done with a SwinSID.

Proper placement:

The chip can be selected by jumpers on the board. Also you can select Vcc voltage for chip(9V/12V)

The reset pin of SID(and clones) should be connected to +5V anywhere else, or pushed to any source of Amiga RESET.

Errata list:

74HC00 power pin (14) is not connected to 5V - should be connected manually.
