LED Controller Board - Wemos D1 Mini
I got tired of watching YouTube videos where people used the Wemos D1 Mini and an external level shifter board to drive LED light strips. I realize this board is way overkill for the need, but I wanted something compact that incorporated the level shifter right on the board to get the +5V that's appropriate for driving LEDs.
This little project is a perfect first PCB soldering project for someone that's just getting started with LED light strips. You can't use this for a massive whole house installation but it's perfect for little 30 light runs that you scatter around your house to accent things.
Simply put +5V in on the 2-pin Molex and then feed your LED strip off the 4-pin Molex, typically just using Dupont connectors to wire up +5V, D4+5V, and GND to your LED strip.
For the BOM see the GitHub documentation.
