Macro Nav Pad v1
### DESCRIPTION
This PCB enables the creation of a macro pad, designed from the base layout of a Keyboard Navigation Cluster (Nav Cluster of Ins, Home, Pg Up, Del, End, PgDn) and the Arrow keys, plus two additonal keys.
This separate pad enables users of small-form keyboards (smaller than TenKeyLess/80%, e.g. 60%, 40% keyboards) to increase their total keys and basic functionality.
This design is driven from the readily available Pro Micro ATMEGA32u4 controller, which provides full programmable features for each switch input and multi-layer key mapping
### TECHNICAL DETAILS / COMPONENTS
Compatable with MX and Alps mechanical switches
Requires:
12x Mechanical Keyboard Switches (MX or Alps)
12x 1N4148 Diodes (Through-hole or SMD)
1x Pro Micro with ATMEGA32u4
For basic mounting, two PCBs are required, with M2 standoffs (minimum 8mm, 10-12mm is acceptable) and M2 screws to match, and also bumpon/stick-on feet.
### LEARN / TOPIC / BUILD INSTRUCTIONS
Build order is silkscreened on the rear of the PCB
Pin maps are silkscreened on the rear of the PCB
Keymapping can be generated from www.kbfirmware.com
AVRSDUDES or xloader is recommended to flash Pro Micro controller.
