Mini FM Transmitter
Simple FM Transmitter, based on the design by Tetsuo Kogawa.
The npn-type bipolar transistor can be any BF198, BC548b, BC557b, 2SC1815 or similar.
The coil can be made by hand and is 5 turns of 1mm diameter wire wound on a cylinder of +/- 6mm or a in pen of similar diameter, the calculated inductance is about 100nH.
For tuning you can compress the coil to move the signal down or stretch it to move it up.
It is normally powered by a 9v battery, but can also be powered by 5v DC like from a USB output.
R3 determines the output power, higher values reduce the power, lower values increase it, always taking into account the supply voltage and the properties of the transistor.
