The Clock by Sporniket supporting WEMOS Lolin32 lite
The hardware implementation of a seven-segment digital clock, synchronized to the network time using SNTP ; this particular implementation targets an ESP32 based development board known as WEMOS Lolin32 lite, that as been programmed using the esp32 based firmware.

The board project is here : https://github.com/sporniket/the-clock--main-pcb-esp32--lolin32-lite
The firmware project is there : https://github.com/sporniket/the-clock--firmware-esp32-idf
Wifi connection will require a wifi router with WPS push button.
Assembly manual
Top side
Place and solder in this order
- resistors
- photodiode
- 1*4 header ; it may help to use the display module equipped with standoffs and its male 1*4 pins header to maintain correct verticality when soldering.
- push buttons
Bottom side
Place and solder in this order
- 1*13 headers ; it may help to use the ESP32 board with its two 1*13 pins headers to maintain correct verticality when soldering.
Operation manual
With the firmware build and loaded.
First power-on
- stay near your Wifi router and push the WPS button
- power the clock
- it should connect to the wifi, and after the greetings message, it should show the time (Paris time)
Other power-on
- put the clock where you want (that reaches your wifi network)
- power the clock.
- it should connect to your wifi network that has been memorized previously.
