Water Level Indicator by EUFORIS
This isn't just a PCB project , but two 16 year old boy's steps to the higher skies . We built this PCB for our water level indicator , which we're hoping to put into business . Me along with my cousin started working on this since 2016 (when we were 12 years old) , and we've been improvising it to this very day . And we're glad that we found PCBWAY for making our own professional PCB ! .
We started this project when we were in 6th grade . As years passed , when we were in 8th grade we started(me and my cousin) selling and installing this in our relative's houses . IT WAS HORRIFIC ! , because our product won't last for more than two week's of time as it was powered by a 9 v BATTERY . Yes , we were nuts to power it on a battery ! . But we learned from our mistakes and upgraded to 12 v DC chargers . We were relieved to see that now our product began to last for more than one and half month . But , new problem's started arising , this time it was the buzzer . The buzzer won't beep even if the water was about to overflow . We hated it for the first time as we couldn't find out what was wrong . But after two weeks of research we figured it out . It was the buzzer's TRANSISTOR ! . We understood that due to some mistakes in our circuit the transistor would stop working precisely after 45 days . So we found a solution , we fixed 8 transistor in a separate circuit , so that after the first transistor stops working , the circuit could use the 2nd transistor and so on . This improved our products lifespan to over 1 year . But other problem's were there , after 8 months , the led lights that gave information about the level of water in the tank , stopped working . We found out what was wrong within one day ! , IT WAS THE WHOLE GODDAMN CIRCUIT ! . So we decided to bring changes . We understood that the current and the voltage was too high for the circuit to handle . But we decided NOT TO GIVE UP THE CIRCUIT , we added more lights and upgraded the 9 v Buzzer to a 12 v Buzzer
This had a huge impact on our products lifespan . It lasted for one year and 2 months without any complaints .
BUT WE DIDN'T DECIDE TO STOP . We continued improvising , we added SMARTPHONE NOTIFICATION for our product , AUTOMATIC MOTOR CONTROL SYSTEM , AND A LCD DISPLAY ! to our product . It looked professional ! . AND ALL OF THIS WAS JUST UNDER THE COST OF 23$ . we were so pleased with our product , that's why we decided to make it fully professional using professional PCB's from great companies like PCBWAY .
We wasn't financially better , we were sort of the middle class . That's why price was a most important factor to us . We searched the whole web for PCB manufacturing sites , but the cost was more than 50 USD , and Indian economy was having a hard time too . that's when we found PCBWAY . They offered us PCB's for a very low cost of 2$ with FREE SHIPPING AND SMD ASSEMBLY . Though this PCB didn't need any SMD , we had other parts for our product like OUR OWN ARDUINO UNO which needed SMD parts and PCBWAY made it possible for us . we are looking forward to launch our product in the upcoming years! .(SO MUCH FOR TWO HIGH SCHOOL BOYS)
PCBWAY IS TRULY THE REASON OF MANY FAMILIES HAPPINESS , INCLUDING MINE ! . We owe a huge thanks to PCBWAY for helping us out and many others in need .
TRULY PCB AND PCBWAY IS OUR GREATEST TREASURES .
