thermo device logger
I work as a R&D Engineer for EV Chargers. To certificate and validate this products, We need to make sure none of the components gets out of the temperature specification of ther datasheet. For that reason, It is very important to keep track of the temperature while running any test. In addition, I have seen many times how some components just break when you try to reflow or solder them. This tool allow us to monitorice the temperature of a specific point with a thermocouple so you make sure everything is OK.
The device connects with USB to a computer, and the software is made with Python, so you can log and save all the data for yoour reports. With the device you can monitore up to 2 thermocouple, with a frequency of 10Hz (Ten measurements per second).
You will see everything on the GitHub page: schematics, gerbers and the software, which is still in development.
