Agon ARCADE Joystick Interface
Easy to build for beginners!
Console8 compatible joystick interface for AgonLight2
This design was tested with an Atari/Commodore 9pin joystick.
BBC BASIC code for testing Joystick Port1 is printed on the front of the PCB.
To keep the design as easy to build as possible it is recommended that you use software de-bounce when reading data from the joystick port as a single click in direction or fire will send multiple signals of same to your AgonLight2.
Theoretically, this board should be compatible with the original Agon by installing a 2X15 pin connector pushed to the left. Compare the pin header pinout of both boards before attempting this adjustment.
This design is freely released. If you want to contribute something, please write a great joystick controlled game for the Agon and release it to the community.
