Custom Low Power Arduino Motherboard

This is a very low power barebones Arduino board, which is a drop in replacement for the Uno.

It works exactly the same as the Arduino Uno, only it has digital and analog pin short circuit protection built into the board. It automatically turns off the power hungry components if it detects battery power to lengthen the battery life. It is directly programmable via USB, and my goal is to make it draw as little as 15 milliamps when powered using the VIN pin or the barrel jack.

This project is still in the design phase, and I will be building prototypes soon.
