EQD Black Ash
EQD’s Black Ash blurs the lines between fuzz and overdrive to give your tone some extra dynamic, earthy grit. Based on the classic three-knob tone bender formula, it’s designed to evenly affect your sound across all frequencies. This means sizzling top-end, a red-hot midrange and seismic bass.
Three simple controls harness the Black Ash’s power, ensuring that it’s both chaotic and versatile in sound. Level sets the output level, Fuzz adjusts the amount of gain and Tone reigns in the top-end. This not only ranges from responsive breakup to scorching fuzz, but it responds brilliantly to any pickup type. Rich harmonics, grating attack, throbbing chords – you name it.
