Description
ESP32 DIN Rail RS485, Modbus and RGB LED Controller
A PCB layout designed to fit inside a CamdenBoss CNMB-2-2 DIN rail enclosure. Has a 5 to 35V input voltage range, RS485 transceiver and 3 open-collector transistor outputs for driving things like fans, RGB LEDs or other items.
The ESP32 can be programmed with custom code, or flashed with ESPhome to configure Modbus interfaces and LED controllers.

I’m very certain you could, you could use MODbus, have a look at this tutorial it could be applied to this device. https://www.instructables.com/ESP32-As-a-RS-485-ModbusSlave-Norvi-IIOT/
