Hello,

This is a tested and working circuit. (Tested on Amiga 500 with FlashFloppy* firmware installed GOTEK floppy disk drive emulator (SFR1M44-U100 and SFR1M44-U100K).)

GOTEK to AMIGA EXTERNAL CONNECTION ADAPTER V3 is an External GOTEK FDD Emulator Connection for Commodore Amiga computers.

This version GOTEK adapter has to be used with "AMIGA EXTERNAL FDD to 20P IDC MALE BREAKOUT". It is not designed to be used separately.

This adapter helps you to connnect; FlashFloppy* firmware installed GOTEK floppy disk drive emulator (SFR1M44-U100 or SFR1M44-U100K) to your Amiga, externally as DF:1 (from Amiga 23 pin disk drive connection).

Components:

34 pin 2.54mm double row female header (2x17 PIN)

4 pin 2.54mm sinle row female header

20pin 2.54mm Pitch Male Socket Straight IDC connector (2x10 Male Box Header)

DB23M 23 pin D-sub male connector**

20 pin IDC FEMALE to FEMALE ribon cable (max 60cm)

AMIGA EXTERNAL FDD to 20P IDC MALE BREAKOUT

FlashFloppy* firmware installed GOTEK (SFR1M44-U100 or SFR1M44-U100K)

Do not forget to setup the jumper position on the GOTEK. (Only S0 cap must be installed)

PS: With Kickstart ROM V1.2 and V1.3 you may need AMIGA 500 - SWITCHLESS BOOT SELECTOR to boot from external drive.

Ps. While transfering data (reading or writing) from SD cards or USB flash storages it should not be interrupted like power-off or Reset systems. Otherwise that may damage memory chips.

In order to protect your electronical devices, always turn off your Amiga before connecting or disconnecting the cables or any other device.
