Motion Activated Trash Can Lid
I've been using the same boring trash bin for the last 6 years, and thought it was time for an upgrade. I wanted something with a motion-activated lid because I liked the clean concealed look of a lid and the ease of use with an automatic lid opening mechanism. However, when I went online to look for some options, I found that most bins of the same size with said functionality were quite expensive.
Thus, I decided to design and 3D print my own attachment on a budget! If you want to learn more, check out the project video below!
