  • Hello
Question: Are they ready for PIN2DMD when I download a file, for example Addams Family copy to SD card and insert memory card and ready display screen without me having to install additional programs?

    correct ?

    EVO128x32_GERBER.zip
    128x32-BOM.xls
    Quoted BOM
    128x32-smt.csv

Please check PIN2DMD.COM for further information about how to operate/install a PIN2DMD

I have also seen youtube the video is not the same version because the video is old version. Ok I give up I will not buy PIN"DMD if I do not get help. The ones I order with assembly I am very unsure if I have ordered correctly or wrong or something is missing. You were not a great help

If you make a new video, I will order a new one because I don't know what parts I need, they are old videos.

  • Here is a question to check with you.
Please find attached pic1. There are some vias in the SMD pads. If these vias are not filled with resin, the solder paste may flow from the pad to the vias, which may cause poor soldering.
Do you need these vias to be filled with non-conductive resin. If you need it, do you need all vias or only the vias in pad filled?
    Looking forward to your reply.

No need to fill the vias !
    Thanks

  • Hi Joerg! I'll try to do this panel for my flippers :) I choose the way PCB+Assembly except for the microcontroller STM32F427VIT6, really too expensive in this difficult period for silicon... Probably I'll buy it from distributor waiting long time and solder by hand... Thanks for your work, see you on future for unlock software :) Enrico from Italy

You can also use APM32F407VGT6 from Geehy. Hardware alternatives are always discussed here https://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/4196-ordering-evo-pcbs-at-chinese-manufactures-questions-and-help/

Ok! Maybe next time I ask you before buy :) Thanks for the tips, now I'm registered user on vpuniverse. Programming this Geehy are with ST-LIN/v2 too? Thanks a lot, Enrico

  • Good afternoon, First of all thank you very much for sharing this magnificent work. Nowadays it is not easy to find someone with this spirit. I already gave my like and the 10% donation is not enough for this job, it should be much more. I had a doubt that I would like to ask. I verified that in the "BOM" spreadsheet the specified core is STM32F427VIT6 and on the pin2dmd website it speaks of STM32F429ZI, otherwise it would not have an update as of 12/31/2020. I had this doubt I could confirm. Sorry if the question is stupid. Thank you very much,

  • good, the electronic components already see soldered on the pcb ?

Follow these steps to get a fully assembled board https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4_uVAL6e4s You only need to solder the power connectors for the panels and mount them to the PCB to complete the hardware.

  • I didn't understand if by doing this order, I get the cards that are already paid out of all the components and that I just need to put the rgb panels to do the pin2dmds because of who answers me
