    Did you get this to work? I built one out and there's no sound except for a slight crackle when the volume is tweaked.

  • This one is self-oscillating at high gain. You did a very nice custom rat layout for me and that one also wants to squeal whether mounted in enclosures or not. Tried lower output transistor and chip swaps, same results - possibly a shielding issue on the pcb itself?

  • I gave this PCB a bash but I appear to have failed dismally. I can hear the distortion but the output has a very loud hiss that makes it unlistenable and the controls don't appear to be giving proper control of the sound (although it could just be the hissing making it hard to distinguish what I'm hearing. Any chance you can share some pics of a finished build of this board or any tips to troubleshoot where I've gone wrong?
