ProtoDac DileOnisA TDA1387 x8 R2R DAC a calibrazione continua, per Raspberry
This is a new version of the Protodac. Different from the original only in terms of layout. The dac-hat Protodac is a good choice, offers excellent sound for just a few money. See the link of the original project:

In this version,as you can see, the RCA pins are positioned on the same side of USB and Ethernet inputs of the Raspberry. This allows you to have all cables on the same side. Furthermore, in this version a 100 nF capacitor has been added in the power supply section and a jump is also provided in case you want to power the Protodac separately from the Raspberry. The rest of the components are the same:
3 x 470 ohm metal film resistors
2 x 430 ohm Vishay z-foil resistors or 430R metal film
2 capacitors of 1000 uF 6.3V
2 x 6.8 uF/250V MKP capacitors
1 TDA1387 x 8 module
Software for Raspberry
Using the R8 bridge the Raspeberry power supply is used.
To power the board externally through the Barrel jack connector you need to remove the R8 bridge

You're absolutely right, I need to finish preparing the descript_ion. The card is a reinterpretation of this one. https://github.com/moode-player/protodac/blob/main/docs/protodac_tda1387_x8.md same components, different layout. Plus the possibility of interrupting the bridge and using an external power supply.
Many tnx for your reply, Massimiliano! So, is the original project not ready for independent powering.. am I right? I have tried to connect my +5V PSU to orignal board - with no results (only noises and crashes on output...)
On this board you can use an external power supply by removing the R8 bridge and using the barrel jack connector
